SENIOR WEB PROGRAMMER

Position Description

This is a permanent position, starting immediately.

You will assist the Project Manager with technical solutions design, effort analysis, scheduling of tasks and overseeing a small team of HTML developers.

Responsibilities include:

Interfacing with client
Define technical solution approach for team based on requirements
Planning of development and allocation of tasks to team
Application Development
Team monitoring
Assist/troubleshoot development issues when required
Delivery of development product
End User Training
Working with Dotography specialists on project when required (e.g. UX Developer; Business Analysis; Project Manager)
Reporting to Dotography Project Manager or senior
Technical research (e.g. software; languages; servers)
Input on staffing decisions / team make up
Input on co-current Dotography projects when required

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have a Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Computer Science /Computer Engineering / Software Engineering or related discipline, and at least 4 years practical development experience. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong skills in the following:

Web Application Development
Content Management System set up and administration
Relational Database technologies and development
Web Server Administration
Leading and mentoring other developers
Servicing and liaising with customers
Excellent command of spoken and written English
